As the Director of New Member Experience for my sorority, I was tasked with handling the education and sisterhood experience for our new member class. This involves planning Bid Day (a celebration to mark their joining of our sorority), New Member Retreat, and coordinating Big Sister assignments.
Event Planning & Logistics: Coordinated budget management, vendor relations, venue scheduling, and execution for major chapter events, including Bid Day celebrations and multi-day New Member Retreats.
Budget & Resource Allocation: Managed event allocations and tracked expenses to execute full-scale social and educational programming within established budget parameters.
Program Planning & Onboarding: Developed and facilitated the end-to-end education and onboarding curriculum for incoming new members, guiding them through organizational values, history, and integration into the chapter.
Mentorship Strategy & Operations: Oversaw the strategic matching and assignment of Big Sister mentorship pairs, establishing structured support systems to enhance peer retention and sisterhood engagement.
